About Maurice Harrison

Maurice’s journey began as a military brat, growing up with his mother, father, and siblings on various military bases. His father served in the United States Air Force and the family moved frequently, adapting to new environments. After his father retired from the Air Force, Maurice followed in his footsteps, serving four years on active duty in the United States Army and three years in the Air Force Reserves. Post-military life led Maurice to discover a passion for fixing things, which prompted him to start a handyman service. Though he enjoyed being a jack of all trades, he soon realized the need to specialize. He chose to focus on Residential and Commercial Roofing, a decision that set the course for his future success. Today, Maurice is the proud Principal of A1 Roofing’s Kanga Roof. Under his leadership, the company has achieved a stellar 4.8 rating on Google with over 100 reviews and has maintained an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau for over 20 years.
