Project Description
A large building in Columbia, Maryland had sections of exterior siding that needed replacement. A1 Roofing’s KangaRoof removed and replaced worn corrugated metal siding panels to restore the exterior surface and improve the building’s appearance.
Because the affected siding extended high along the exterior wall, the crew used an aerial lift to safely access the upper sections of the building.
Replacing the Worn Metal Siding
The existing exterior included vertical corrugated metal panels. Sections of the siding had become worn and required replacement rather than simply being covered or cosmetically repaired.
The crew removed the affected panels and positioned replacement siding to match the vertical layout of the surrounding exterior.
Using Lift Access for Upper-Wall Installation
Much of the work was located high on the building, close to the roofline.
A1 Roofing’s KangaRoof used an aerial lift to bring crew members and materials directly to the installation area. The project photo shows the team positioning a large metal siding panel from the lift while working along the upper section of the wall.
This allowed the siding replacement to be completed without changing the documented scope of the project.
The Completed Siding Replacement
The project replaced worn exterior siding with new corrugated metal panels while maintaining the existing vertical panel configuration.
The work focused on restoring the damaged exterior sections and creating a cleaner, more consistent finished appearance for the building.
